carmen,

little lamb
is attracted to
pretty, shiny things

like trout

And snow and trees. I don't miss snow. I just think it's pretty.

snow
is pretty

you can make
an igloo with snow

/t., the poem was meant to be a whale...well...tout flesh.

i have a microigloo in my kitchen, LL...nice and shiny..

Little Lamb said...

Not interested in the microigloo.

carmen racovitza said...

LL, you reject Experimentation...what a pity, what a loss...

Little Lamb said...

your microigloo is probably really a microwave oven. No thanks.

carmen,

little lamb
does not like bbqs
or microwave ovens

i like your poem, tout or !tout flesh -- it is a good one

fat lamb indeed! People want to cook fat lambs. That's why I must avoid bbq's and microigloos.

Little Lamb said...

I may not be able to get out. No thanks.

carmen
is a spanish
name, is it not?

do you know the work of the famous spanish poet carmen conde? 2007 is the cetennary of her birth. there are great celebrations taking place this year in spain, and i am honoured to be able to take part by commission of this museum with a work dedicated to carmen conde

oh, god, can you tell me what this is all about...how can we "read" it? /t...

Anonymous said...

carmen,

in a very real
sense, if you can
see it, then you're
'reading' it already

it would be best if you could see the 'live' version of this work at warnell.com (linked at the blog) -- to do so, you will need MSIE.6+ browser (or Netscape.8+ in IE mode)

the live version is a dynamic generator that is able to create countless variations of the poem, which is sourced from carmen conde's own work, JAGUAR PURO INMARCHITO

what you can see at codepo() is just a screenshot with dataset (conde's) processed source material)

carmen racovitza said...

how is your contribution? you go there in person?/or send it to them ...and what's your role with the museum...

Anonymous said...

my contribution
is the live version

a conde poem generator -- conde lives into a new millennium by the continual reinvention of her work

i sent them the url to the live version of my work -- i don't know yet how they will use it -- i will not be travelling to spain (i hate travel)

a curator with the museum asked me along with several others known in international web and net.art to participate by creating a new work -- i accepted

carmen, you did not answer my question: your roots, spanish? central or south american?

you are a gallery curator, yes?

/t.

carmen racovitza said...

roots?/ greek,bulgarian,jewish...

i'd like to be a gallery curator...it's my best hidden wish...
i was a teacher of languages, now i am retired, but actively involved in artistic things: a mag, some books... things to keep me busy.

Anonymous said...

is
the
magazine
in print or online?

so, i guess carmen is not strictly a spanish name :)

/t.

Anonymous said...

also,
your background
'teacher of languages'
might explain your interest
with experimental poetry(?) -- you have some fine examples posted at your blogs

/t.

carmen racovitza said...

my mag...printed stuff ...and in romanian too...limited interest... i hate the idea of translating it into english for the general use. anyway it is a samizdat mag about and with experimentalists , romanian and foreign alike...it's the only one in romania...but not very daring or up-to-date in canamerican terms ...
limited interest, i tell you...

Anonymous said...

i'll
bet it's
interesting
just the same

primarily texts? visuals?

/t.

carmen racovitza said...

texts AND visuals, but quite ..obedient...anyway , there are texts by american and canadian writers as well, DOI is a mag interested in marginals, experiment and young lit.....i can send you a sample via email, if interested...

carmen,

the link
will take you
to my email address

(i don't want to post it here in blogger)

/t.

carmen racovitza said...

/t., i sent you an "email" on your address...have you got it?//just checking up...

i have got VILA on wordpress...could i place my mag on it??/i am desperately helpless in handling such things as sophisticated bloggers ....
anyway i 'll see how to send you text AND images in their respective places....
skeptical...

carmen,

yes, received
your test email
with nothing attached

i don't know about wordpress, but you might be able to send a document in original form -- so, if an rtf file or word document, i can read those, or html, of course...
